Unfortunately, both players are leaving due to personal reasons. Arizona is now re-opened and available for auditions. Elena was an OC that belongs to her player so we won’t re-opened the role.

Family Reunion || Arizona & Elena

drrobbinsmd-az:

Arizona smiled brightly at the thought of Laney meeting her daughter. “She’ll love you, and Mackenzie too. She’s pretty social, so be prepared to be her new buddy.” Arizona beamed, she always smiled super bright when she talked about Sofia. “She’s my light…” she said thoughtfully. “Never thought I’d be a mom….ever.” She shook her head, as she allowed that thought to settle.

Arizona nodded when Laney said that she was always safe, she figured that her niece was glossing over some details to save her worry, and for the time being, Arizona would allow it. She knew how the younger blonde was right after they lost Tim, and she knew that typically, things get worse before they get better. She hoped in her heart that now, things were better, and continue to be.

Laney stopped her when she mentioned her leg, not letting it go as a topic. Arizona suddenly felt self-conscious again, she ran her hand down the length of her thigh, and gathered some of the material of her pants in her hand, pulling the leg of her pants up to reveal the metal joints that came out of her shoe. “I…I lost it.” She mumbled. “I shattered my femur, and a few days in the woods, with open wounds will set up an infection.” She said quietly, looking to Laney, searching for a reaction. “And…Callie thought she fixed it… but then I apparently took a turn for the worst. I don’t remember much.” She shrugged again.

I lost it. Elena’s eyes immediately traveled down to the hunk of metal which now served as her aunt’s leg. I lost it. The words replayed in her head several times as she peeled her eyes away, looking back up to Arizona’s face. It was like she was stuck on them, for anything that Arizona had said after completely went in one ear and out the other. Even worse, she couldn’t do anything but stare. Not at the leg; she’d seen numerous amputees in her time as a nurse, but rather at Arizona’s face. She couldn’t believe it. She didn’t want to believe it. Something like this could never happen to her Aunt Arizona.

Though Elena was anything but naive when it came to situations regarding bad things happening to good people, she was shocked to say the least. Given her past, she was well aware of the fact that her family was certainly not immune to disaster, but still, this… this was the last thing she had been expecting to find out. After what seemed like several long moments of silence, Elena finally lifted her eyes from where they were fixated on the side of Arizona’s face and looked her in the eye. Her own eyes welled with tears, and Elena wasn’t one to cry. Ever. “I—I’m sorry…” She choked out, suddenly feeling rather embarrassed for becoming so emotional over something she hadn’t even been around to feel the initial impact of. But, then again, that was the thing: she hadn’t been around, when she should have been. And for that, she felt absolutely terrible.

So What We Get Drunk || Tyler & Elena

tylernixonmd:

Tyler nodded towards Joe as he brought their drinks to them, “Thank you.” He picked his beer up and sipped it laughing as Elena spoke about Mackenzie. “She’s braver than I was at that age, I would never have dreamed of going on the monkey bars.” He smirked towards Elena.

Tyler frowned. “It doesn’t seem like ‘nothing’ Elena, but if you don’t want to talk about it, that’s fine. I’m here to drink, not to talk.” He had heard various things but he chose not to listen to hospital gossip, you never knew what was true and what wasn’t and if Elena didn’t want to talk about it then it really wasn’t any of his business. Tyler decided that a change of subject was in order. “So, how come you didn’t call me? I thought we were friends.” He laughed with a mocking pout on his face. “If I’d known you’d come to Seattle Grace, I would’ve come sooner.” He took a sip of his drink and smiled at Elena raising his eyebrow slightly, she really was beautiful; she looked tired and completely run down, but she was still beautiful. He sighed leaning his elbow on the bar with his head in his hand, he was actually unusually tired. It wasn’t often that he found himself tired, he knew how to pace himself so he didn’t get tired but Seattle Grace was full of drama and it did just wear him out completely. He took a final last swig of his drink and ordered another, looking at Elena to see if she wanted another one too.

I’m here to drink, not talk. Elena couldn’t help but grin at his words. Good answer. She thought, though kept this to herself. She didn’t need to give Tyler any more hints that there was more that was going on inside her pretty little head that she wasn’t letting him in on. In time, maybe she’d tell him, but she’d need to be a lot more intoxicated before she even considered letting her guard down. While she was pretty relaxed around him, the untold stories of her aunt weren’t things she let anyone in on, usually.

"Oh I don’t know." She shrugged, letting out a sigh as she finished off her drink. "I figured you’d hear through the grapevine or something," she admitted. Leaving Seattle Pres. wasn’t something that Elena had initially been happy about. She’d had a routine there, and having to break routine was always something that made Elena a bit frustrated and flustered. So far though, things weren’t nearly as bad as she suspected they’d be. In actuality, she was liking Seattle Grace Mercy West. When Joe came around and asked if they wanted another round of drinks, Elena eagerly nodded. "Yeah, I’ll take another." She confirmed, her eyes flickering to Tyler shortly after.

Family Reunion || Arizona & Elena

drrobbinsmd-az:

“They’re fine… You’ve met Callie, it took alot of physical therapy for her to get back…but she’s better than ever before. And Sofia…Well, Sofia is Mama’s girl, I’m the one that got her to breathe the when she was born, and I’m the only one who she will go back to sleep for in the middle of the night.” Arizona smiled to herself, thinking of her little clone of Callie. “It was a long road… and I was terrified I’d lose them too. I had already lost so much.” She shrugged. “Don’t apologize…Life happens, right?” She was regretting missing so much of her niece’s life, regretting the days that she never tried to get in touch with her, not trying hard enough. “Can I ask what happened to your husband?” She whispered, not wanting to pry, but wanting to know more about Laney’s life.

Arizona heard Laney’s deep inhale, she suddenly felt self-conscious about asking more about her life in the past eight years, but then decided that it was okay, she was simply catching up on things. She felt a sense of comfort wash over her when Laney squeezed her hand in return. The air in the room felt a little less tense. When she mentioned the plane crash, Laney looked at her with worry and horror on her face. Laney knew about it, Arizona knew that as soon as she asked for confirmation. “Yep… I was. We were going to Idaho, and… something just….happened.” She shrugged, running her hand over her bad leg, putting pressure on her thigh. “Months later, and they still can’t explain why it happened. Crazy right? Changed all these lives, and still… no answers. Story of my life.”

"I’d love to meet Sofia." Elena told her honestly, a smile coming to her face. As she mentioned a bit of a complicated-sounding story regarding how Sofia came to be, she thought back to her conversation with Owen Hunt. She vaguely remembered him saying something about Sofia having three parents, rather than just two. Of course, that confused the hell out of her, though she figured there was probably a good explanation behind it. For now, she decided to just let it go and let the thoughts fade away from her mind. Now that they were reunited, she and her aunt had an ample amount of time on their hands. They had the rest of their lives, in fact, to catch up on every that they had missed out on over the past eight years; She would ask her to explain another time.

Elena lowered her head a bit, breaking eye contact with Arizona. Despite the seriousness of the conversation that they were having, she couldn’t help but find it a bit amusing that she’d kept calling her ‘Laney’. When asked if she’d had any near death experiences, she hesitated. While she’d had some scary moments, they weren’t really one’s she’d call ‘near death experiences’. To save her aunt the worry, she decided to sugar coat things a bit. What Arizona didn’t know wouldn’t hurt her. “No, I was always safe.” Her eyes flickered upwards, blue meeting blue once again.

She listened carefully as Arizona relived painful memories of the past. She regretted bringing them up almost immediately, noticing the change in Arizona’s facial expression. Clearly — and with good reason — this was a hard topic for her to talk about. Upon mentioning her leg though, Elena couldn’t help but pry a bit more. If what had happened was something that Arizona was uncomfortable with telling her about, she’d let her know. “Whoa wait, your leg? What happened to your leg?”

Not sure how I did it but…..

drrobbinsmd-az:

Don’t judge me, Laney… You know I’m scared of them! So… I’ll just sit here, and wait for Callie.

Let me know how that works out for you!

I somehow maneuvered up onto the kitchen counter after seeing a mouse in our kitchen.

I’m such a pansy.

Why didn’t you just kill it? Or get a mouse trap?

That, unfortunately, I cannot help you with.

But you’re welcome to come hang out with some of the kids and I on the oncology floor. They can be pretty entertaining.

Family Reunion || Arizona & Elena

Elena couldn’t help but smile when Arizona began describing little bits of Sofia to her. “And all those years you thought that you’d be a terrible mother. Looks like you proved even yourself wrong.” Elena smiled, tilting her head to the side. Sure, Arizona had, had tons of ‘mom-like’ training on her when she was growing up, but even that hadn’t swayed Arizona enough into wanting children of her own. For as long as Elena could remember, she was the closest thing Arizona ever had to a kid — and the closest thing to a kid that Arizona ever wanted. Clearly a lot had changed in eight years.

As much as hearing about her aunt’s life made Elena want to regret disappearing, she couldn’t help but remind herself of the fact that if she hadn’t, she wouldn’t have gotten the same things in life that she had now, like Mackenzie. She may have found happiness elsewhere, but it wouldn’t have been the same. Elena stiffened in her chair a bit when Arizona asked about her husband. That was the question she had been waiting for, and the one she feared answering the most. Some of the decisions she’d made during her college years were one’s she had been more than happy to leave behind. The girl she was back then wasn’t the same girl she had been in high school, nor was it the same girl that she was now. Still, she couldn’t lie to Arizona. Even after all the years of separation, she still hadn’t built up the nerve to ever lie to her aunt. In fact, she probably never would. “He uh..” She paused, biting down on her lower lip. “He overdosed. Cocaine.”

Her gaze dropped from Arizona’s almost immediately then. She was humiliated. Nathan hadn’t been a drug addict, but telling people how he died always made it sound that way, and Elena hated it. “He wasn’t a drug addict, I wouldn’t marry a drug addict.” She shook her head, “we just… made bad choices back then.” She frowned, her eyes finding Arizona’s once again as she continued on about the plane crash. “And that’s why I don’t like flying.” Elena had never been a fan of it. She just hated planes. They made her feel claustrophobic. And did things like fall out of the sky, apparently. “Was everyone… okay?”
